Abstract	Thai transnational corporations were surveyed as to their management style, transfer of technology, local resources and manpower, socioeconomic impacts, and factors affecting operations. Recommendations include cooperation with local enterprises together with government subsidies to foreign firms to provide technical know-how; re-examination of Thai employment practices related to foreign firms; and providing support for development of technical human capital and technological infrastructure.
